Awards Assembly

Today Kailee had her awards assembly. I really had to stop and think of where all my time with her has gone. This year, especially, has seemed to just FLY by! She was awarded the Science and Art awards. I am SO proud of her! She absorbs any knowledge that is offered to her with such excitement! I am very appreciative of Mrs. Stephens for being such an enthusiastic teacher. Thank you, Tina!

End of School Year Update

So, as it turns out, I'm not so good at keeping up with information. Imagine that! I'm working and decided I had a bit of down time, so here I am. The kids are doing great! Tyler just finished Tues/Thurs School. He was typical Ty at the program! They made a present for us which was a collage of the pics throughout the year. It was precious! I'll try to scan and post my favorites! Kailee is winding down in 1st grade. It's hard to believe that she is 7 and looks like she's 10! We are going to be in uncharted territory next year. So far, I have been blessed with having friends as her teachers each year. In fact, I get tickled sometimes when I realize that Tina (this year's teacher) actually took that 1 hour 45 minutes trip on the icy interstate to hold one of my legs to get Kailee here in this world! I know, I know, TMI, but how many of your kids teachers have done this for you? Bravo, Tina! So, next year will be different. Scary for me, but I know that my wonderful friends will just be next door to keep a look out!

Well, I love my job, but very much dislike my work environment. Too much negativity! So I have an interview with a dermatologist office in the morning. My Granny and Popa think I should stay in a hospital setting, but I would love to have office hours! I really believe it would be best for the family, too. I miss out on so much now! In compensating for less hours, I would make more hourly and that would just about average out. Wish me LUCK! Gad has a plan for me and I will get it sooner or later!
